Just as the name suggests, My Liner Notes takes from the nostalgic art form of an LP’s liner notes, which can be found within the inner sleeves and inserts of dusty records and cassette tapes. The personal essays found on this blog contain anecdotal and factual material which celebrate the visceral and emotional connection we all share with music. These analytical, humorous, and often poignant opinion-editorials are always delivered with the kind of brutal honesty you can only expect from a music nerd.

Bon Iver fans have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for another album since they released their 2008 debut, For Emma, Forever Ago.
Last year’s Blood Bank EP and frontman Justin Vernon’s side-project Volcano Choir have served us a couple appetizers while we wait for the main course, whenever that may be, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer.
But in the meantime, drummer Sean Carey is releasing his solo debut, All We Grow, next month. Vernon, of course, has already released two solo albums prior to forming Bon Iver.
Judging by the gorgeous first single, “In the Dirt”, it looks like we’re in for more than a mere appetizer.
