Mark Ronson and the Business International have released the video for “The Bike Song”, which features The View’s Kyle Falconer and Spank Rock.
The video sees the local community of bikes pull together to help out a fellow bike in need when Falconer’s wheels are stolen, a la Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure.
And not since Queen’s “Bicycle Race” has there been a more defining anthem for cyclist and bike enthusiasts everywhere.
This is the official second single off the upcoming Record Collection, following the release of one of my favourite summer jams, “Bang Bang Bang” with Q-Tip and MNDR, and the the third song we’ve been able to hear off the record (the Legend of Zelda-inspired video for the 8-bit anthem Circuit Breaker was released back in May).
I don’t know about you guys but I’m greatly anticipating the October 5th release of this record (I’m particularly excited to hear the D’Angelo-featured cut).
It’s been more than three years since Ronson dropped Versions, his brilliant collection of covers, and so far Record Collection is shaping up to be a worthy follow-up album.
